With great credit, but little cash-in-hand, my husband and I celebrated our first anniversary by applying for a mortgage! Three months and many viewings later, we closed on a foreclosure property that needs quite a bit of work. With very little know-how and even less money (though we do have the $8,000 rebate to help us out!), we need to turn this beat-up house into a home....
